With holiday cooking & baking quickly approaching here's a tip to save a little money. Buttermilk is one of those things that I need a cup or two maybe once a month, not really enough to justify buying buttermilk. Here is an easy substitute that will save you a couple bucks.
1 Cup of Milk
1 Tbsp. White Vinegar
Let sit for a couple minutes on the counter, once it starts to curdle give it a quick stir and it's ready to use.
If you need less than a cup you can use 1/3 Cup of Milk & 1 tsp. White Vinegar
