Kids Korner: Bath Paint

Store bought bath paints can run anywhere between $6 - $10 and with 3 kids I just can't afford to spend that much on something that might last one bath. So I found a recipe for homemade bath paint that was simple and I already had everything to make it on hand! We had a lot of fun making it and the kids loved playing with it in the tub. I had no issues wiping this off of the tub but you may want to test a little first on your own just to be safe.

Homemade Bath Paint
  • 1 Cup Body Wash (Brand doesn't matter but it should be white or clear)
  • 10 TBSP Cornstarch
  • Food Coloring
  • 4-5 Small containers (depending on how many colors you choose to make)

  1. Pour 1 Cup of Body Wash into a bowl
  2. Add Cornstarch, stirring after each Tbsp.
So serious!

     3. After well stirred, divide the mixture up into your smaller containers and add food coloring and stir.

     4. Now just take to the tub and paint away!

We start with about 4 drops then add more if needed.

The ugly gray was my fault.
