If you buy your ground meat in bulk and divide it for freezing here is a way to use up some leftover produce, bulk up your ground meat and sneak veggies into your families diet. I always have recipes that call for just 1 or 2 carrots or a half of a green pepper and hate to see the extras go to waste. So this i a great way to use up that left over produce.
Using a grater or a food processor shred up a mixture of carrots, onions, green peppers then mix them in with your ground meat before dividing and freezing.
